Wine Cooler for Darlingtonia growing

Kurblius

Carnivore
I wanted to grow Darlingtonia in Ottawa but it gets quite hot in Ottawa in the summer. So I decided to convert an old wine cooler into a little grow room for mine. Inside is wall-to-wall Mylar except for the fan. Grow light is external, attached to the glass door, and wrapped in black and white poly film. This is my first day using it, so don’t know how effective this set up is. Temperature I’ve initially ally set to 12 degrees but evidently the lights generate quite a bit of heat and it rose to around 18 degrees during the evening. I may have to find a way to dissipate the heat (maybe attach an external fan?). Or, maybe the temperature drop could be used to my advantage in some way. Alas, humidity inside the cooler is quite low.
