Here's a tutorial on how to change the lens on Wyze cam v2. By changing the focus of the lens you can take close-up macro photos! I'd recommend a M12 12mm-20mm for macro photos/ videos, as 25mm may have a too far focus distance.

Good stuff. I ended up dremeling the end off a 25 mm lens and using a couple extension tubes to shorten the focus distance to a minimum of 15 cm or so.
Haven't really had much time so I think I'll just post the camera modification here instead of making a video.
After taking the wyze cam v3 apart, there are two main components, the PCB for IR LEDs, memory card and reset button, and the PCB for camera. Similar to wyze cam v2, the lens is attached with glue, which can be remove by slowly applying acetone.
Due to the new front plate design, it is not possible to interchange the lens into a larger lens, so I've designed a new part and 3d printed it in PC.
And the result of the modified camera turns out pretty good. It doesn't have water-resistance capability any more (not that we need it for macro photography), but I'm happy that it looks pretty clean and works with tripod mounts. The lens I'm using is 6-22mm adjustable lens, it proves to be very useful for changing focus and focus angle. The IR LEDs are still functional and night images are very sharp and well-lit.
