It's hard to tell, but at least some of them look like they have caps that might start inflating, which makes me think they're moss sporophytes of some kind.
There are usually enough spores in the peat. So more make no real difference.
But at this stage is the optimum moment to harvest the moss. I rip them out each single one in case I want to cut down moss a bit.
Usually I do not care and leave it. Australian Pygmy Drosera get this treatment from me.
