Seed packets with blue dot = require cold stratification or equivalent pre-treatment.
The Nepenthes seeds are from Feb 2024, they are aging but not that old, might just take longer to germinate. it's not rare that Nepenthe seeds germinating after 3-8 months. Be patient, it really depends on the growing conditions.

It does not limit to purpurea, there are probably more than 30 types of species & hybrids in the mix. It's a good fun way to get into growing Sarracenia from seeds.

I am new to sarracenia and the cold stratification, but im willing to try!

Have the sarr and darlingtonia seeds already been stratified so i can plant them immediately or will i have to wait till winter to stratify them and then plant them next year.

They have not been through a cold stratification process. Don’t be put off by cold stratification though it’s not difficult. If you have a fridge, paper towel, ziplock bag, clean water and can wait a month, you can do it!

Huge shoutouts to @stevebradford for organizing seed bank logistics, which seems like the sort of thing that just *has* to be kind-of exhausting, and also to @WillyCKH (I'm pretty sure) for donating a great majority of the seeds I've just received.
