St. John’s Newfoundland

I haven’t been there any time recently... it was actually very difficult to find! I tried to get to the same spot this year but was unable to find the same location. I’ll try again in spring :)

Here's a cluster of them from just off the Witless Bay Line, south of St. John's (they are common there across a large area of bog) with a sundew at the bottom left, only a few cm away (June 11 2018). Do you know if this association is common? Is the red button in the middle an emerging flower, or something else?
Yes, D. rotundifolia are almost always found in the same areas as S. purpurea here in Newfoundland (from what I’ve seen)
