Here are some of mine are just coming out for winter dormancy with a new plan this year!

I plan to make a carpet of sphagnum covering 10x10 mesh pots to grow certain carnivorous plants in, imagine a table topped by a realistic bog display of a sphagnum hummock.

When the sphagnum over fills the 10x10 pots I should be able to reposition pots or move the display. it should fill in quickly without it looking too disturbed for long.

Those thalloids are in some of my moss too.
All sorts of interesting stuff shows up in my Sphagnum. I find liverworts and lichens fascinating so most of them I just let be. Some of the other mosses that grow in there are becoming the bane of my existence with the way they take over though.

Here's the liverwort Gymnocolea inflata from one of my pots:

I chopped up and spread much of the Sphagnum I have been growing on a smaller scale for the past decade or so onto trays at the greenhouse. The tables are plumbed with a recirculating watering system hooked up to a large reservoir. I also spread some seeds from Drosera rotundifolia and anglica in there to have a constant supply for projects/trades/selling. The Drosera capensis are volunteers. Here's the mass of moss as it looks as of yesterday:
