If the roots are green and fat and growing, it should flower.

We got this Phalaenopsis Orchid around Christmas for $2 when it was looking very crappy. I remember the cashier asked us that if we are sure we wanted it. It started blooming yesterday, just in time for Mother's day. My mom really likes it.

I like these small compact ones. Gives me more space for carnivorous plants
