Pest issue?

Looks like springtails to me too. Thrips have a pointy rear end and you'll usually see leaf damage before you even see any of them. Your plants look nice and healthy so I wouldn't be concerned.

Still having issues with my pings. This is on a different one and I'm not feeling very confident that it's nothing to worry about. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would try some of Willy's systemic spray, works very well for thrips. He also has an anti-mite version. I haven't tried doing soaks, but thrips can lay eggs inside of leaves so you might kill the adults but the eggs will survive.

2 of the pings in the tray seem to have enough to be noticeable. Haven't checked the other pings or other tray yet. Have a couple nepenthes there also. Not looking like its going to be an easy job.

Does repotting actually help any? I see everyone rave about Willy's magical powder...lol...does he have a site to buy it?

Send me a message if you would like to try the systemic, I'm happy to help! The mites are probably being eaten by your Pinguicula, soil mites are generally not harmful to plants unless they are out of control. I'm more worried about the thrips because they usually prey on Nepenthes and other plants.

You only have to repot for mealy bugs which attack roots.
Also whenever I found thrips, it was because the plants looked sick.

So I spent hours checking plants yesterday. Basically I have a tray of Pings, 2 nepenthes then another tray of pings. Found thrips on the orginal ping tray and found the odd one in the second tray but nothing on the nepenthes. Any suggestions on what I should try and do while waiting for Willy's mail?
