People who do serious saltwater aquariums for their corals usually buy par meters to setup the light with expensive PAR meters which costed $600 and up. Now knockoffs can be had for around $140 so terrestrial plant lovers can measure their setups and not use phone apps like Photometer. Apparently the knockoffs are quite good and are only a bit off from the much more expensive ones by Apoggee and a few other select brands.
