Does anyone know where I can find Corybas species and Bulbophyllum polliculosum?
Hi funkmaster, thank you for the info! Could you tell me how to get involved in the said orchid community? Is it a Facebook group or an online forum? I'm in BC and I'm interested in buying a couple. Thanks! In Canada the only place I've seen Corybas recently is Roehampton Orchids.
For imports, Tropical Exotique in Thailand had a great selection of Corybas on their list this year (and also offered Bulbophyllum polliculosum). Our local orchid society did a group order and the plants were in great condition on arrival. There will likely be another group order in the spring.
I'm not ready to be an orchid-holic yet, maybe monthly meetings are too much for me. Just wanna grab a couple companion plants for my nepenthes. And yeah please let me know if you see anything. Thank you so much!I'm involved in the Foothills Orchid Society in Calgary, your best bet would probably be to join the Vancouver Orchid Society. The Societies are old school, and usually have an in-person meeting each month. The VOS also holds a couple sales through the year where you might be able to find the plants you are looking for.
If I see any of the plants you are looking for pop up on pre-order lists I'll send you a message.
Very interesting. I just checked out his insta page. It seems like he only offers Indonesian species. I'm looking for Australian species. Like corybas fimbriatus. You could try @banedict_ban (DreamsOrchids) on Instagram. They have a pretty wide selection of Corybas. No clue if they're legit or not though. I've never ordered from them
