Newly Obtained Pinguicula Moranensis!

I recently bought this local Pinguicula moranensis in Hamilton, Ontario. Such a cute pinguicula! Do these send off plantlets off the base?? Also if I put them in a full sun for 4+ hours, will they turn copper?

Nice new plants! It will depend on which kind of moranensis they are, some stay green, some go copper, some are deep red. It looks like they were grown on the shadier side so increase light slowly so you don’t scorch the leaves.

Yes, they will eventually divide, or sometime a new plant will start off the base of an old leaf.

I think you should divide them already, there are too many for one pot.
you can do, since you will have several plants, tests to possibly have pink or red leaves, in fact it does not depend on the exposure to the sun but rather on the light intensity to which they are exposed, and again it is not an exact science
they are probably hybrids not pure moranensis
