Hello everyone,

Sorry if this is in the wrong spot but I'm just wondering if anyone has any Nepenthes ventricosa pollen available? I have a female with two flower spikes. 50/50 split on seeds if successful, would be my first attempt at pollination. Thanks!

That's the "problem" about N. Albo: it is such a specific species that it is hardly ever used to make hybrids.

Female robcantleyi flower coming up. Belongs to a good friend of mine and he asked me to source some pollen for it. I would like mollis, veitchii (striped), or lowii pollen but would be open to others. Already have pure robcantleyi in the works so no need for any more robcantleyi pollen

hey @stevebradford, my ventricosa x sibuyanensis (BE) is flowering, seems to be female, it probably won't be ready till another month.

Pollen keeps in the freezer, I will collect some in wax paper to store for the next few months!

I lost the tag for this long ago unfortunately. I think its hirsuta x spathulata but i don't actually know. its male and has 3 flower stalks opening so if anyone is interested in pollen message me

I have my truncata male flowering, in case you have a female that is about to flower in like 1-2 month.
I have a female spectabilus that may just be too early for it.

By the way, Carnivero mentioned some crosses are harder to make than others.
Does anyone have info about it?

This girl is flowering again! Looks like at least 3 spikes coming up! Looking for pollen, preferably from other species to make simple hybrids

My lowii x ventricosa is flowering. Not sure if this clone is sterile or not, it's the mass-produced one sold by Colasanti, common in nurseries. I think it looks female. But if anyone else has flowered this clone and can confirm the sex or fertility of it, I'd appreciate that.

My spathulata x lowii is flowering again, looking for pollen, the flower should be ready in 4-6 weeks. I'll cut the flower in 2 weeks to conserve energy if there's no response.
