Hi all,
I bought a grow tent for my sarracenia seedlings and since then I have put a few equipment to automatize it.
I bought the little Vivosun 30" x 18" x 36" grow tent from a seller in Canada on ebay, it was 79.99$ shipped, all included.

Then to keep the humidity at the correct level, I bought a reptile fogger. With this fogger, I use only osmosed water to make sure the machine last a long time and the ultrasonic devise does not clog with mineral. It is also very very important not to have a loop down in the tubing or water will accumulate in it and block the tube, causing the machine to overheat. I put the tubing over my plant tray, so any dripping water will fall into the tray, but I attached it on the side of the tray to make sure the tip of the tube does not get under water and block the flow of fog. 59.99 $ (no taxe on this from Amazon)

Then to control the fog machine automatically, I bought this controller: 86$
There is one sensor probe for the temperature and one sensor probe for the humidity. When the temperature get over 80F, the it start the fan, and when the humidity is below 60% (your choice) it start the fog machine for a few seconds. It's pretty cool!

For the lighting, I used 1 T5ho: 45$
https://www.amazon.ca/SunBlaster-09...ster+t5ho&qid=1553303490&s=lawn-garden&sr=1-2
and one led light side by side with the T5ho like this one: 56$

Those Chihiros lamp are cheap and good. I have 2 of them that I bought for my aquariums and they have been working well for over a year, making my aquarium plants grow like weeds. they seem to be working well for sarracenias seedling and they don't make too much heat.
I also bought a shelving from Home depot and took 2 sections of it to put inside the grow tent. There is one T5ho and one led light for the bottom section and one T5ho and one led light for the top section.
For the fan, I bought the Vivosun cheap fan here: It does the job well for this little grow tent: 26$

Total setup was around 450$ to 500$. The seedlings grow very well and fast in this tent, and I have less worry that they will dry or be cold.
And last but not least, I bought a La Cross wireless sensor for temperature and humidity that send me alert on my cellular if the humidity gets too low (meaning the fog machine is not working or the humidity sensor is defective) or too high (meaning the fog machine is stuck on or the humidity sensor is defective), or if the temperature gets too high or too low. : 60$ with taxes.

It's easy to setup, just plug it in the router (the unit must be plugged in the router with the included cable) and the sensor goes in the grow tent. I already received 2 alerts on my cell, one for the battery being low (I started it with some batteries I had on hand (AAA) as batteries were not included!) and one for the humidity too low as I was testing it. You can set the intervals at 5 minutes or one hour and it keep history of the previous valus for sometimes, so you get the picture of the environment in the grow tent during the course of a day.
Here are 2 screen capture of the free La Cross application, first page is the main page and the second is the records it keep. I tried different settings for different intervals. So now I can monitor my grow tent parameters from anywhere in the world!
And this is not necessary but I was curious about the level of CO2 in my tent, and house in winter, so I bought this little device: 125$ with taxes. (it is not necessary for the grow tent as I do not inject CO2 in my setup, but I wanted to know anyway. So the level of CO2 in my house in winter is around 800 to 1000 ppm.

Here are the picture of my seedlings in the grow tent: the top seedlings are 5 months old, and those at the bottom are 2 months old. Those on the top right are around 6'' tall and those on the top left are only around 3'' because I took a month longer to spread them and they were crowded. You can see the difference in size from those that I have spread early and the others that were done one month later. I also give them MaxSea diluted 1/4 foliar spray and in the pitchers once a week.
So this is it... Feel free to add a suggestion if you have one!
