Muckydoo's pings

So it's a dilution of either NPK 2-7-7 or NPK 8-14-9.

The latter has a higher phosphorus content than the former, making it more beneficial for flowers.
The second NPK, 8-14-9, is composed of 8% nitrogen, 14% phosphorus, and 9% potassium
-Nitrogen promotes foliage,
-phosphorus promotes flowers,
-potassium promotes roots, and also helps fight pests and diseases and aid recovery from adverse conditions such as cold and drought.
Personally, I don't use fertilizer, or I use aquarium fish flakes on the leaves, in small doses to avoid indigestion.

And don't forget that these are carnivorous plants; they normally fend for themselves.A walk outside during the summer months between May and October does them the world of good.

This ever interesting seed grown P. ehlersiae 'Tolantongo' that I possibly crossed with P. kondoi 'Giant'?

I mean, they all look different?!
But it was more of a 'kondoi is sterilize, this will never work' and then ramming a paint brush in each flower... So I assume some amount of self-pollination was possible... But the shape and color difference makes me think maybe there is something going on!? I will continue to wait for flowers...

And then some pings I thought looked nice.
Couple of pots of P. ehlersiae 'Tolantongo' located in different areas and lights.

P. laueana 'CP3' I got this fall from @WillyCKH
Really starting to change colours, now that the temps are dropping.

Daily temp range is 15c over night to 21c during the day.

An odd ball P. 'Johanna' getting extra colourful.

P. moranensis f. rosei
It went quite dark in the cooler temps as well.

My Pinguicula from the BCP order.

Delayed by Purolator for a day, they then rode around on the Puro truck all day in near freezing weather, then they were sent back to the Puro depot and put on a different truck and delivered in the evening in temperatures below freezing, with a heat pack had no more heat to give..... And these incredibly resilient plants survived.

Now one plant is nothing more than a single leaf pull, and a few others are still in critical care, but for the most part they survived! A few are already flowering.

Still keeping them under moderate light to help with putting on a bit of size vs colour.

I lost completely the ping moranensis f rosei, Japanese strain. It came like a bunch of tiny leaves about 1/4 inch !. All others from BCP are very well especially the pings planifolia are lovely.
