Really nice bloom. I've wanted to get into Orchids a few times but I always remind myself I still have NoID Phals that have only bloomed a few times. Maybe this year during the winter if they bloom, I will reconsider getting different species of Orchids.

Do you keep your phals outside or give them cooler nights this time of year? Both of my phals put out flower spikes in the last 14 days. I just keep mine on the balcony until temps get close to 10C. That seems to be enough time to trigger flowering.

The plants are indoors all year round. I recently repotted them into larger containers and started placing them near the balcony door whenever I have it open in an attempt to induce flower spikes. Usually I don't pay attention or provide enough care haha.

If you have a table on the balcony, put them under the table where the only get a bit of full sun early morning. Or, just think of it as putting the dog out for the day and pop them on the balcony for the day. A week should do it.
