I have, hopefully, a fun question!

Seedling
I’m turning 19 this december, so my plants have many years ahead of themselves (fingers crossed all goes well ). Anyways, I recently saw a video on the california carnivores’ youtube about a big pot of Sarracenia Purpurea started from seed by this lovely guy (i’m sorry i forget their name) when they were young like me! I’m curious, do any of you have a plant that you’ve had ever since your venture into carnivorous plants? I.e. a decade+ year old capensis, or a tank of a Sarracenia. I’d love to see it! Photos of them back then versus now and you receive an extra gold star.

I've only been growing nepenthes and other carnivorous plants for a little over 2 years so I don't really have old established plants to show off yet.
These plants do grow exceptionally fast compared to the caudiciform plants I grew prior though. Here's a comparison of what my grow shelf looked like:

Wow. Your progress in such a short period is absolutely inspiring!!!! Looks beautiful.

I love the idea of this post. I've moved too many times to have had anything long term, and have only gotten into CPs the last 1+ years, but I did once have a beautiful red Anthurium for about 10yrs that my mom unalived after I left it with her when I moved to the US ;) She under watered that one, while at the same time over watering a couple of cacti I had also left with her until they, too, were unalived in a mushy, sodden mess, lol.

:( brutal

I first started growing CPs in 2009 but unfortunately don't have any of my plants from that time due to a move among other issues. I got back into it a few years later in 2015 starting with some sarrs and dews from Hawaiian Botanicals back when they were in Richmond.

The first photo is either from 2016 or 2017 I'm not 100% sure but I think 2017. The second photo is from this June. I've divided them all twice except for the purpurea on the right which Ive just let grow. Its got many growth points and is basically taking up 1/4 of the bog now lol. Next year will be its 10th year and I'll definitely have to divide the plants this winter except for the purp.
