Nice. You still growing those Nepenthes? They’re looking good!
I’d guess that lowii must be close to making uppers by now?
It looks like a lowii, but actually is a N ephippiata :). I gave it away a few years back

I couldn't figure out how to attach photos on my messages. So I thought I'll just post them here for @Phyllostachys to view:

Pot one: D spatulata (blood red form. originally from ICPS Seedbank early 1980s)
Pot 2: D binata v. typical form (at back), D. filiformis v filiformis at left front, D intermedia right front

Ok... I've finally found my list of plants I ordered from Borneo Exotics from almost 15 years ago.
I had lost interest in CPs when I was hospitalized back around 2015... and had lost many of the labels on my plants (UV broke down plastic tags and/ or faded the marker ink). So I didn't know what plants I still had. Anyways, I've found my original orders for the BE plants... now to match up the plants.

I lost a few of these plants, but some are still growing in the mess of vines I have at home. So I'm hoping I can correctly identify the surviving plants and start making cuttings for trades.

[ edit: removed photos of order lists cuz they showed the wholesale prices... and prices were not to be shared ]

Amazing! Hilarious how expensive villosa has gotten, and they’re still just as easy to kill!! Haha. But for $12 I’d experiment...

A few of these clones are still in production! I’m growing a few of them, notably hamata 3380, lowii 3100, and jacquelineae 3093 :) there may be others, those are just the clone #’s I recognize.

Let me know if you ever want to work out a trade!

Yes, I'd be happy to trade. I've been a bit hesitant to trade in the past short while, for I had no clue what species/ hybrids my plants were due to the lost labels. Hopefully when they start pitching up in the spring / summer I will be able to properly identify the plants against the old plant purchase order lists I've located

What this awful pandemic has allowed me to do, is to spend more time at home with my plants... helping me rekindle my interest with my plants. Now I've slowly started to identify a bunch of my plants with the missing labels– as they're starting to pitcher up with the onset of spring... and cross referencing the pitchers to my old vendor order lists and my old photos.

I know I've a few interesting species... and am hoping to locate them when the pitchers call them out.

Here's a hybrid I just identified: ventricosa x spathulata :

little pitcher from an old clone, N hamata x platychila... I believe it's a natural hybrid.

First pitcher of the year, approx 10 cm tall. It had been growing in one of the pots at the back of the terrarium, I believe it was from a cutting I made about 6 years ago, and the mother plant had been lost years ago. Kind of happy to see I've still got this nep growing.

I even made a new label for the little beast, I had thought the original label was lost, until I found a faded piece of plastic with its name on it buried in the media. :p
