I'm really curious about the "flamingo" variant. How fast does it grow compared to other Heliamphora? When the cultivar first came out, I was a bit skeptical that such a plant lacking in chlorophyll would thrive long-term out of tissue culture.
Also, I vaguely remember about reading a debate on the actual cause of the variegation. It was suggested that a non-lethal viral infection caused such mutation in colour, oposed to the general consensus of it being a genetic trait.
Perhaps down the line you could cross pollinate it with another one of your Heliamphora and solve the mystery.
If it flowers one day, would be fun to cross. I have a exappendiculata flowering rightnow and i still have parva extremely pollen left ( if still viable). And a minor pilosa pitcher
I made a new tank cause i wanted more space for the plants and its at my height so i dont have to kneel on the floor to look at my plants.
