Wow, amazing colletion!

I'm really curious about the "flamingo" variant. How fast does it grow compared to other Heliamphora? When the cultivar first came out, I was a bit skeptical that such a plant lacking in chlorophyll would thrive long-term out of tissue culture.

Thanks dennis,
When i got it i thought it would loose these variegated leaves but they keep coming back. Its growin kind of fast for a heliamphora.

That's pretty neat, keep us updated on it. :)

Also, I vaguely remember about reading a debate on the actual cause of the variegation. It was suggested that a non-lethal viral infection caused such mutation in colour, oposed to the general consensus of it being a genetic trait.

Perhaps down the line you could cross pollinate it with another one of your Heliamphora and solve the mystery.

very nice set up congrats
if you got some spare seed like to get a few from you for my T/c ing would very cool
thanks john
