H. pulchella self-pollinating without help?

bonfield

Carnivore
It seems there may be a fruit developing with this H. pulchella "Akopan" flower, but I didn't even attempt to pollinate it!

Thanks, that's a great way of looking at it! Even if they don't sprout, it's not such a big deal since they're faster to propagate through division.

probly more than i expected, have had over the years thousands of heli flowers not once has one self-ed , so that's a first for me,if you get a seed to germinate that would be even more surprising, but hope it dose that would be awesome for sure .
helis is one seed that dont need stratification ,so sowing under lights would be the faster ways to see if you have viability of seed . lest hope to see some little green sprouts in a few months :)

One of my Heli's is flowering with more coming. Anyone have experience with pollination techniques?
