Growing Darlingtonia from seeds

Update: One of my seedlings has finally produced an adult pitcher. All are still pretty small (as wide as a quarter in most cases).

I find the summers in Ottawa are a bit too hot for my cobra lilies, so they spend June-August inside and go out at the end of summer and fall. These are now nearly three-years-old. The holes in the pitchers were caused by wasps that chewed their way out... These and my VFTs are wasp-magnets.

Thanks, I did check at the ICPS site and they did have some for sale. I did buy some. There are some sellers on Etsy but I am not sure about the reliability of these seeds. I guess Darlingtonia seeds are hard to produce? Even on this forum

Years ago, I got a lot of them from someone and they germinated quite well. So I don't think they are difficult to get or grow. They do seem to like natural conditions. Mine died after 2 years without dormancy.
