I'm looking for some new plants :) Happy to organize group orders for any with more than a couple of interested people. I've imported from Wistuba before without issue.

BCP:

Order would be placed shortly after September restock

carnivorsandmore:

Premium Exotics TW:

Wistuba:
https://wistuba.com/
Order would be placed after winter restock for spring shipping

Florae Collaborative:

Still need confirmation from Florae. Order would need to meet a minimum MOQ.

I would love to join if you order from wistuba. I have been wanting to order from them for ages. Or BCP, or any other:)

Hi all,
Quick update, been super busy since school started so haven't had much time to further this.
I'll definitely be ordering from Wistuba after their next restock (Spring 2024, most likely).
I would like the order from carnivorsandmore but I haven't been able to get confirmation from Christian regarding shipping. If anyone has ordered from them before and knows how the import process works with DHL, please let me know. Not many people seemed interested in BCP or Prem Exotics TW but I may do an order in 2024 as it's getting too cold for shipping now anyways.
Thanks all :)

Will definitely be keeping an eye out for this, thanks.

Wistuba just restocked Eddys and I was lucky enough to be literally scrolling through my email when the in stock notification came through and I managed to score one hehe. I guess this means the Wistuba group order is good to go.
I don't have time today to make a proper thread for it but those interested in plants from Wistuba can start looking at what they want and PM'ing me. I'll probably make a group order thread tomorrow.

The jist of whats important to know is this:
  • Shared costs:
    • 100 euro base shipping fee from Wistuba
    • Any additional import/customs/inspection/brokerage fees (most likely none)
  • Individual costs:
    • Cost of your plant
    • Additional shipping charge (10% of your order amount, rounded up to the nearest 10 euro)
    • Canada import tax (13%)
    • Shipping within Canada from me to you
  • Costs covered by me:
    • Import permit
    • Shipping supplies
  • Shipping within Canada is via the cheapest of UPS, CanadaPost, DHL, or Purolator. If there's a specific courier that you want to use / do not want to use, you may let me know.
  • If you want to use a courier not listed above, you may do so. I will provide you the dimensions and weight of the package and you will be responsible for creating/purchasing a shipping label and sending it to me(digitally). If the courier you choose requires the package to be dropped off somewhere inconvenient for me, I may charge you for my time/gas.
  • Wistuba stated that orders will be shipping in Spring 2024.
  • To order, PM me a list of plants that you want, specifying clone and size. I will calculate the currency conversion and send you the total as well as my email for e-transfer. If the currency conversion significantly changes before you send me the amount in CAD, I may ask you for the difference.

The process is pretty standard. DHL will either call or email you when your plants arrive. My suggestion would be to call them first when you see your parcel arrives in Canada or they can be pretty slow. Then you have the choice to have DHL clear the parcel for you or go to the custom yourself to clear it. If you choose to self-clear, DHL will email you the documents you need to clear live plants (phyto, invoice, import permit, maybe more). It will be cheaper if you do self-clearance, but you need to visit the custom yourself. There is no online payment option available. If you want them to clear it for you, you need to fill out a power of attorney form on their website, and they will ask for your import permit and phyto, even CK attached them to the parcel:rolleyes:. Then you pay fees, and you get your plants. Having them do it is slow, at least, that was the case for me.
My experience with UPS was better than DHL. I don't know why they use DHL.

That sounds like a hassle indeed. I'll ask if UPS can be used instead of DHL, not sure if I'd go through with an order if DHL is the only option. Thanks!

I contacted FloraeCollaborative recently regarding international orders and they said that they would be considering it for large orders. I updated the poll in the OP to have them as an option, I'd love to get an order from them going if there's enough people interested!
