Greenhouse humidification

Hey,

Last autumn I built an 8x12 cedar greenhouse and am now preparing for the upcoming crazy summer heat.
I used some mistking pumps and nozzles I had lying around to automatically sprinkle when humidity drops under 60%
I find the mist a bit ‘wet’: would much rather have fog than mist :)
How do you guys keep the greenhouse humid enough ?

From my reading there are a few avenues:
* high pressure pump 1000psi: expensive
* compressed air: yet another gizmo in the greenhouse
* water hitting big propeller: expensive
* ultrasonic fogger

I think some people use a 'hydrofogger' I don't have euither a greenhouse or a hydrofogger... but, I recall someone somewhere using one... :p

Not sure about Montreal but the summer is very humid here, Do you need to humidify in our summer climate?
Can’t tell :)
Today was 15outside and as soon as the vents opened, humidity drops at 40-50%.
I figured high humidity will help cool down the gh when it’s gonna be 30 outside.

Same here, very hot and humid so I rarely need to add humidity. In my grow tents I use ultrasonic humidifier but those would not be good enough for a large greenhouse.

Do sarracenias really need that much humidity? I think 50% is probably ok as long as they always have plenty of water in the trays. It's more important for young seedlings maybe to have high humidity but not sure about adult one. I never supplement my sarracenias with humidity and those outside do quite well even when the humidity is 40%.

I was trying to raise humidity in preparation of summer heat. More humidity means lower temp due to evaporation.
Mostly worried about the heliamphoras.
