Gemmae Time!

Sundew

Seedling
All of the pygmy drosera are producing gemmae, now that winter is just around the corner. After planting a couple hundred (thousand?) gemmae last weekend, the plants are still producing more.

Here are a few of the species that I grow.

These are D. x carbarup.

D. roseana

And this is D. verrucata, a species which I can not seem to keep alive for more than one season. Every year, about half of them tend to die out after producing gemmae.
