Anyone likes to 3D print as well? I have started my Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) 3D printing hobby back in 2015 when I built my first 3D printer, it was an incomplete kit from China and I learned a lot while setting it up and programming it.
Ever since I have tinkered with a lot of 3D printers and eventually became the 3D printing specialist at work when I graduated. Some of the printers I played with: M3D micro, CR-10s, Prusa mk3, Prusa mini, Modix 120x, Anycubic Predator, Anycubic Mega & Mega s.
I'm currently rebuilding my Predator with many upgrades, and designing my own 400x400x400 square printer (still in concept prototype phase).
I keep most of my printers at work, because I live in a small condo and space is an ongoing issue... I mostly use one of my two prusa minis at home to print new things. It is a small and nice printer, not without flaws, but I love using it.
My first 3D printer, now retired. Funny story is that I had to build this printer and get it working because we had many projects in university that require us to make our own custom design parts. At that time, 3D printing elsewhere (especially at school) costs a lot of money so I made the decision to setup my own printer and dedicated a lot of time to make it work.
My capstone project was a wired submarine drone for ship inspection. I got A+ at the end.
Some prints I made recently...
And this headphone stand that I designed in Solidworks
