Few Cephalotus

Right now it's 50%. But in the winter time it drops down to about 35%. I do randomly lose pitchers as well. Will be looking great and all of a sudden half the pitchers will die.
But then within the week or two it's pumping out a bunch of new, healthy pitchers.

I will add that some clones are a lot more susceptible to losing pitchers than others.
I have one line of clone that will reliably die back to practically nothing and then go wild afterwards.

I thought the contrast between a newly opened pitcher, against the dark older pitchers was nice.

My "German Giant" clone (sourced from Canadian collections) also clumps like yours but does not make what I would call giant pitchers. Colorful, but not big as the name suggests!

The German Giant clone from German or European collections has large pitchers and is possibly the original/true "German Giant". It is said to be the TC cultured version of the famous Harald Weiner Giant clone

Awesome looking cephs, especially for the end of summer! What are your max-min temps during summer and do you provide circulation via fans? Many of my plants grown in the open under leds like yours lose most of their pitchers and die back to their rhizomes. I don't have this problem during winter though

It's in the basement so temperatures are a little more stable than upstairs.
My temperature logger says low of 20c high of 23c (Past week data) current temperature 23c. I would say that's pretty normal for most of this summer anyway.

Everything is grown out in the open environment of my basement, just some space blankets hung for light reflection.

I actually don't run my fans anymore. They were annoying whenever I was down here so I turned them off and I would never remember to turn them back on. The crinkly noise of it blowing on the space blankets drove me insane.

In the summer the air conditioner runs and in the winter the furnace would run so if there is any air movement it's just from the air vents.

I find different clones react differently. German giant does not care at all. The clone I got from @VarunA is pretty solid and I've only had it lose pitchers once or twice in probably 5 years. But the other unnamed clone loses pitchers at least once a year.

This is the clone I got from @VarunA
The biggest pitchers by far. Next time he has some on sale I'd definitely advise you to pick some up. Recently fed an osmocote pellet, and new pitchers growing like crazy.

Thanks for the detailed insights about your setup. Whatever you're doing, it's working well judging by how good your plants look!

After experiencing severe top growth loss a couple years ago, I installed a window a/c in my basement grow room. That stemmed leaf and pitcher loss considerably in summer. Temps never exceeded 20ºC in the room when lights were on but still the cephs doesn't look as fresh as yours. I'm starting to think that my Mars Hydro 600 lights are too close (at 20") and localized heat is too high, as I also don't run fans in the grow tent. I'll test by placing my thermometer on the surface of one of my pots for a few days. Plants look great in winter though!

I've also noticed that some clones are much more sensitive to losing leaves/pitchers than others.

Whats your go-to prop division tech? I recently tried both a trap cutting and a stem cutting but both seem to be drying up a bit despite being in 50-70% humidity and moist soil mix?

That’s awesome. Thanks for the kind words. :)

Repotting my cephalotus tower.
It did really good, just didn't turn out as expected. I thought it would grow some rhizomes and offshoots upwards and then I'd have them coming out the top but really didn't work out that way.

Really good rhizome growth though!

I'm going to try @King Karnivores method of perlite and a top dressing of sand.
