Pas mal !

But it's strange cause there is not a lot of mucilage on the leafs.
Meabe you started some dryer saison ? Or change it's place ?

It was shipped to me last months. Since then it sprouted many new leaves. But it has not grown lots of mucilage. Never the less, it caught many little flies.

What I noticed is that once the leaf catches an insect, the cilla won't produce any muscilage afterward. So I don't know if that can influence muscilage production on newer leaves?

From what I have read, its intense light that helps produce the mucus. Whats the weather like in QC that you can grow them like that inside?
I'm in SK and I have 2 drosera capensis "red" and theyre both struggling (one is dying/dead)

Recently just put Ziploc bags over the top of the cups they are in and putting a 100w led bulb on them. Measured the lux to be about 20,000 4 inches away.

Don't throw away your D. Capensis. They are really tough and can regrow from the roots given proper conditions.

Humidity is also a factor in muscilage production. I took a dome, cutted a hole on the top (cause I like that insects get trapped on the leaves even though it keeps less humidity) and putted it on my tray. It's been only three days since but I can already see a difference. Pictures to come.

You will find information on D. Capensis and many more Sundew on this website. Don't give up your D. Capensis right now as it can simply be dormant. I'm sure you will find a sweet spot for it. :D

Bought that at les serres Binette. "Bienette greenhouse". You want some? I can send them out to you! :D

Probably not a bad idea. Depending on the type mold and the durability of the leaf surface the growth could infect the plant. Under lower humidity levels where the insect does not mold there would be no problem.
