An army of Spatulata var. Lovellae!!

Hi Everyone,

I have a D. spatulata that has been in spike for quite some time now. I haven't seen any flowers open but from what I have read you can blink and miss it lol. I'm wondering if this is ready to be cut for seed collection. The bottom buds are quite dry but I'm not really sure what the seed pods look like. I know the seeds are tiny tiny tiny so guessing the pods are too. I definitely want to do some propagation from these guys. Think I'm good to go?

Thanks! Appreciate it! I cut the flower spike off my other one because it restricts the growth so much but I would really like to propagate one of them. Trying to decide what to do with my capensis wide leaf and alba... They are both flowering too and I don't have multiples and really don't want to lose them.

After you have collected the seeds, cut the stock and put it in distilled water. I've read many times that it's a sure way to get new plants. I'm trying it now - no results yet, but it has only been a couple of weeks.

I saw some ,"Spatulata" at Cedar Rim here Langley BC and they are spelt "Spathulata" yeah it's strange they don't spell them right.
