Hi! My drosera prolifera has a flowerstalk that is growing quite fast. Do they often produce seed? If not should I take a cutting of the flowerstalk? I also heard that the flowerstalk will touch down and produce a new plant. If so, should I just let it be?

Btw they don’t need to touch the moss, my plants produced babies on the end of each the flower stalk while they are still in the air. They are in individual pots so there’s no possibility for the flower stalk to lay down on some moss. I believe the humidity factor as to do for something? Everytime I see the babies (second pictures are all babies from flower stalk that produced babies without any touch on moss), I cut a a part of the flower stalk with the baby and repot them in a new pot.

I am confuse about temperature and humidity to best grow drosera prolifera...
What is your preference conditions, to grow Drosera prolifera, cool temperature or warm ? High humidity 70-80% or 40-50% ?
Informations I got from my internet readings are opposite.
I did try both T but my drosera is just so so, not thriving... I have it for 2 months now !

I could see you grow the prolifera on the same rack of paradoxa. So at warm temperature...

Mine sits in a north window in one of those hexagonal containers for Siamese fish (with top). So room temperature and moderate humidity. They do take time to grow but then are very easy. If you enlarge the picture, you can see a flower stem that made plantlets.

Actually no, the picture I took was during cleaning at the greenhouse so the Drosera paradoxa are at the right place but not the prolifera, they were put there for a short time during cleaning

Im guessing it has to do with lots of light.

Your prolifera looks good red but in the wild all the Three Sisters ( Drosera prolifera, Drosera adelae and Drosera schizandra,) grow exclusively in shady rainforest habitat.

Drosera prolifera in the wild, notice the shady conditions and the lack of red pigments. https://www.fierceflora.com/drosera-prolifera/
