Drosera oreopodion

It depends. I kept drosera gemmae for 6 months in good conditions so I assume they can survive a while in transit as long as they don't dry, freeze or get too much heat. The other thing I think of is that they sometime shoot their roots if the trip is too long.

Hi, do you soak the gemmae in water or just keep them moist in LFS ?

I've had them survive a week or two even at pretty cold temperatures as long as they're moist in coffee filter paper in little Ziploc bags.

It depends on the purpose.
If I want to store them, I keep them in pure water in the fridge (it works for me, I don't know if it is safe for all gemmae).
If I want to sow them, I put them on a 50/50 peat/sand mix.
If I want to ship them, I put them in wet scott towel in a plastic bag.
If the gemmae turn black, it is likely dead.

Thank you. Very useful to me.
