Drosera oreopodion

These sundews aren't doing so well. After they produced a small flush of gemmae, I moved the plants to a shadier location temporarily. Unfortunately, the plants did not take that very well and some of plants are dying off. Other plants are not producing opened leaves. Right now, I am keeping them in an inch of rainwater, and putting tjem under grow lights. Is there anything I can do to save them? Thanks!

Wow! How pretty! Do you think that higher light would make the plants grow better? I have started to put them under lights, and still seem to be dying off.

Ok, I have changed the setup to be almost directly under the grow lights, and have increased the amount fo water in their tray. Do you think covering the pot to increase humidity would help with the plants? Does it also look like any fungal issues? This sudden change in sundew health really is quite jarring. Over the spring, summer, and fall, all the plants formed pretty strong pink rosettes.

Could this decline be related to their gemmae production? It started in November, but later flushes of growth did not compare to previous growth.

The roots are fine and long. But they separate easily in water. Just saturate the old medium with water and tease the roots out. Then you poke holes in the new medium and tuck the roots in gently with a toothpick.

About 8 inches deep! I made sure that a larger pot was used due to the size of their "taproots". Actually, some of the plants are starting to recover, with some new bright pink leaves!

Just curious is you can make any hybrids with other sundews with drosera oreopodion? Also has anyone ever got viable seeds from drosera oreopodion? I know they are self-incompatible so you would need 2 genetically different specimens of the same plant to produce viable seeds if I understand correctly.
