You sure this is oreopodion? The flowers don’t look right compared to other pictures from the internet.

Seriously, I did label this one when I originally got the gemmae. So maybe.

It’s also possible that they were mis-labeled since before you got them, which seems to be relatively common with pygmies.
I’m not accusing you of false advertising or anything, just speculating. And they’re nice plants regardless .

The disc shaped stigmas really remind me of the Drosera omissa. I think D. oreopodions stigmas are more club shaped. I'm no pygmy sundew expert though. I ended up with a few of the gemmae you sent out Lloyd and I also grow one labelled as Drosera omissa. I'll compare the two and take some good photos when they flower. Who knows though, oreopodion could be like D. pulchella in that it can look very different between individuals of the same species. Those stigmas though! Good eye dewy.

I didn't notice that you and Steve both replied with what I was going to say while I went to go look if my omissa flowers were open!

Interestingly Drosera omissa flowers continuously and self seeds with fertile seed that germinate well for me. Not common for Pygmy’s.

I am trying to have better (my limited capability ! ) pictures of the flower (oreopodion ? omissa ?) to help ID the pygmy... I post the pictures however I am looking forward to see flower pictures from Willy later on ...

After just sort-of limping along for a while, my three drosera oreopodion/omissa have *finally* started growing at a reasonable rate! The trick seems to be keeping them permanently inside a humidity dome. None of this 'fresh air' nonsense.

Anyway, I know these aren't looking as good as other people's drosera from the same generation, but I'm proud of them anyway!

Wow so nice. At first only 3 of mine grew but now I’m seeing more and more growing

You can pollinate those flowers and get some seeds and grow even more.
