Yes Drosera filiformis seed needs a cold stratification period of 1 month to germinate.

Thanks. Much appreciated. Speaking of cold stratification, we are supposed to get -35 degrees Celsius. Maybe I’ll sprout in a month.
I am not sure if getting the seeds extremely cold will fasten the germination process or not. Be a neat experiment to try. I would fear of the seed bursting due to such low temps. Having said that I've always stratified my seed with the coldest temperature setting in my fridge with great results.

I was sent some seeds from a friend(may have been stored dry in the fridge) sprinkled and sowed them they sprouted in a month... I had planned for them to sprout following spring lol
