I am very new and I won this in the auction. I got Willy to pot it, it is in a 3.5 in deep pot with what looks like peat and perlite 50/50 or something. Don't hold me to that though I am not sure.

Yep, peat and perlite 50/50 and some live sphagnum around the plant. Eventually the moss will cover the soil surface under ideal conditions. :)

Thanks, these plants have not been with me too long and I have @WillyCKH to thank for not only the amazing plants available, but all the advice for me also! Amazing work!

Usually the drosera is popping up in other species pots, so this was refreshing. I was just wondering how this could have happened, do neps usually propogate from root or leaf or stem cuttings in live sphagnum?

This moss might have originally came from you, it's hard to say because of all the live moss I have now, I have 4 zipper bags full and still cutting.

Hi,
I fed each of my plants with dry spider and fresh spider. The plants had a dome which I removed when the mold appeared. Here are the pictures. Should I remove/cut off the leaves ? The mold leaves stay stable. BTW, these droseras come from Carnivorous plant store, potted. Awesome potted plants...

I’d keep the leaves on the plant if they don’t show signs of degradation.
I love this species…one of my favourite of all the Drosera. They excel in bright, wet and cool-warm conditions. An increase in air movement may help prevent mold in the future.
Enjoy and thank you!
