D. cistiflora dormancy

It seems like every time one of my cistiflora starts to go into dormancy new growth starts coming up from the root. My plan was to dry out each pot once all the leaves from the plants in them senesce but I don't feel I should do that if new growth keeps coming up.

I also have a small pot of seedlings that I have not let go dormant since they germinated almost 2 years ago and there seems to be no issue. If conditions are cool enough is there any reason why I can't just keep those and the larger plants going indefinitely?

No idea about the cistiflora but I've been growing tuberous dews with no dormancy for years. So who knows?

Thanks Lloyd. Do they stay up for you without senescing or do they get new growth from the root?

I now have 2 tuberous dews. One just keeps growing, the other cycles between different plants.
