There is no smell.

My Sarr flowers always smelled. Cat pee or floral perfumy.

May be my sense of smell is not good enough. None of my sarracenia has ''smell'' except this flava, kind of weird floral smell...

How to know if there will be producing of seeds ? Have hand pollinated the flowers...

I found it was hard, some pods were filled with seeds and others had just a few and they didn't look that different from outside.

on some Sarracenia, the pod, when fertile, swells tremendously and is shaped like an oblate spheroid. On unfertilised pods, they tend to be skinny and more cylindrical. Luck of the draw, unless it swells a lot, then you won't know till you split it.

This one, I didn't do the hand-pollination. Another NoID SG sarracenia. There was full of ants inside !

SG sarracenia. Cross of S psittacina x rubra ssp gulfensis x leucophylla. See the difference of pigmentation between young/mature pitcher.
