big old bomb cyclone hit the coast of BC, expecting huge winds & bad rain plus 0 degree weather so I moved my sarrs up onto our sheltered deck where we can see and appreciate them
(my purpurea isn’t as sheltered though because I trust it’s a badass)

We got it pretty good here in Nanaimo last night, no plants were hurt though as Id moved anything in smaller pots against the house. Power went out around 530pm but was back on early this morning. Over 34,000 customers without power in Nanaimo alone when I checked the outage map before bed yesterday. Very thankful BC Hydro was able to get our power back on in a pretty quick time frame considering the weather. Hearing some may be without power for another day or two though.
