Bog Planter/Grow Tables!

Today's project, 4x2 insulated cedar bog planter. Pond liner will arrive on Wednesday! PVC watering system with lava rock at the bottom. Will also have an over flow 1 inch below the soil line so it doesn't flood in heavy rains. Goal is to be able to mulch the top and leave it out through the Fraser valley winters!

First coat of stain and watering system put in! Also put a drain on the bottom to flush the system/drain excess water in winter that will have a bulkhead and ball valve installed

Pond liner ,drains and watering system are in! Had to order a massive bag of perlite so now I have to wait for that to show up.

Today's plant rescue. Spent $70 and divided some rhizomes. Thankful I have a supportive fiance

Decided to plant most of the sarracenia with the 10 degree weather. If we get another cold snap I'll trow a tarp over it all!

Bog is finally starting to wake up! Its been pretty cold in the Fraser valley.
