Let have a dedicated thread for a continuous running largest Flytrap competition!

Largest Flytrap's largest traps are typically produced towards the end of the natural growing season in response to larger more abundant food prey. smaller traps produced during and coming out of dormancy with less to catch during winter smaller traps are more efficient.
 
That is really impressive...the uk carnivorous website Cpunk forum has (used too) have who has the biggest flytrap contest every year. You would win. You might have a new cultivar. The guy who started keehnscarnivores out in Lumby, bc won it way back in one of those years

Biggest ones of the year - have about 3 adult plants with this sized traps, maybe the same genetics? Not sure.. but they all look slightly different. This one is just a nice deep red, so thought I'd share this one.
