Best substrate mix? And should it be in a terrarium?

I want some heli what is a good substrate mix? And should it be grown in a terrarium with high humidity and lots of light? And what are some best lights for them? Recommendations are welcome.

I use either LFS or peat : perlite. Moderate humidity with daily misting, LED lights from @WillyCKH, small fans and try to keep temperatures not too warm when lights are on.

Hi i have put all my hellis in akadama and perlite mix now, there slow to strat regrowth , but once they statred to grow is been amazing growth in conjuction with a feeding program , very few set backs , did have one in summer when my aircon failed, plants got to hot and a few sufferd from SDS that sucked ,but was not a media issure just a temps one , for me over all its been a good experiment
