Best deals on TC vessels? Reuse-able vs single-use?

Hi All!
I'm just wondering what are the best deals people have found on TC vessels? Personally I'm split between these reuse-able Clear Straight-Sided Glass Jars - 16 oz vs single-use Deli Containers with Lids Combo Pack - 16 oz. They go for about $2.05 vs $0.164 so break even would be 12/13 cycles with the reuse-able glass ones.
I think another benefit would be that the glass ones have less chance of warping in the autoclave/pressure cooker and might offer a better seal = less contamination?
I'm interested in hearing other people's thoughts :)

I use these closures which seem good as new after many years of use.
I use them on baby food containers which last forever.
I also use 250 cc mason jars with:
With or without a DIY millipore filter.

Where do you get the mason jars from? How much are they?

Mason jars and the reusable plastic closures with sealing rings are available in hardware stores in the summer. Also Canadian Tire, big box stores, Walmart, grocery stores, etc. Price varies, often on sale, very cheap. Last indefinitely. The rings that hold the closures often have to be replaced, along with the rubber rings. Probably the cheapest alternative. You can make pickles and jam with them too.

Ah interesting, Bernadin wide-mouth Mason jars($1.45/ea for 500ml) are quite a bit cheaper from Walmart but their lids are metal and opaque. Do you think it would negatively impact plantlet growth due to lack of light? It looks like they'd be compatible with Closure, Round , Screw Cap, 89 mm from PhytoTech but that would bring the total cost to $2.12 ea which is a couple cents more than the Uline jars at $2.05.

500 cc is good for the plants when they're big but the 250 cc are more practical. A lot of stuff like jam comes in them and you can save them. I still think the baby jars and Phytotech closures are best in the long run.
