Algae problems with germinating seeds

MJP

Seedling
I've sowed some drosera seeds in this mix of Sphagnum peat and perlite a few weeks ago. Now it looks like algae is about to overtake the pot.
I read that sprinkling cinnamon will kill algae but will it harm the seeds?
I also don't want to pick out the algae since the seeds are very tiny and I'd probably pick them out along with the algae.

Keep the water level in the tray lower for the next few weeks, looks just a little too wet. Increase air flow. Could try Cinnamon, won't hurt seeds. I've had limited success with it.

How about peroxide? I’m having the same issue, a couple of my pots have a serious cyanobacteria issue lol.

I mean, for removing algae after it’s already began. Also, how do you provide more air movement around the seeds while maintaining a high humidity?

I have had the same issues.. I grow my seeds in my tent too around 80RH. Lots of circulation and still algae. The seeds still grow and once a good size, repot and issue be gone i have come to terms with algae doesn't effect much other than appearance.
