3D print of mini greenhouse

Hey all

We upgraded to a bambu x1 over the holidays.
And are planning on building an 8x8 greenhouse this spring, so designed it in womp (full sized).
Printed a few very small versions for testing. And a nice sized one in PETG that I'm going to plant up.

If anyone would like to give printing and planting this a try, let me know and I'll figure out how to share (I'm new to womp).

Actually, if anyone would like the tiny test prints, I can mail them out.
I was considering planting them with moss.
The base of these measure 7cm x 7cm, and would have to be glued together.

Nice design!
Off topic:
There has been some heated debate on the bambulab because they are changing terms and forcing users to use their slicer and cloud service.
Send me a PM if you want to/ need help putting your printer in offline mode away from the cloud. I got mine changed to LAN mode in 10 minutes and it's easily reversible.

Thanks @WillyCKH - I'll look into this.
Another off topic - do you have a preferred adhesive for petg? and pla?

I would 100% be interested in testing out this miniature greenhouse and am happy to pay for shipping. I’m making my kid a model of Hogwarts, and could see this as a stand-in for the herbology greenhouses :D maybe planted with tiny succulents, perhaps?

Off topic, so Willy, you ditched PRUSA printer and stated using Bambu ones? There was big ruckus over bambu this week making it necessary to use their cloud services in order to print if you use the latest firmware upgrade. This means they can track where and who is doing what ( eg ukraine, israelis drone parts for example) as well as use peoples 3d models to do other future iterative ai generated models for their peusal.

That's why I have my P1S in offline mode. I still have my prusa printers, no ditching.

Oh I also have a Bambu printer, didn’t know that there was a change. Will check that out thanks

@Joanie - The tiny greenhouse is SO CUTE! Maybe you could take orders for mini gardening. Could you make one with a 14cm base? I'd buy one just to try tiny crops. I'm in awe of 3D printing users ... there's a whole new vocabulary I'll have to look up now. My brain hurts! ;)

Hey @Trapper J! Tiny crops! I’ll send you a message!

The one thing I’m grappling with is how to add plastic to the frame to create humidity. It’s too small to just glue it on all over because I won’t be able to access the inside. I guess I’ll have to see it in real life and try to figure out something!
