How to deal with condensation on inside walls of grow tent

Warm air can hold more water than cold air so no matter what you do, if there is a variation in temperature throughout the day inside your tente, there will be condensation in it (in addition to the condensation that forms due to the colder exterior wall). Quickly, I would say that the best...

    Eclipse

It was a bit chaotic here yesterday. Thousand of people crossed the bridge to get to the totality zone. One of the few day of the year when the sky is clear blue, not a cloud in sight for the whole afternoon. Was really worth it. Your pictures are awesome Ertiocx.

    Tips for drosera lanata?

If you decide to keep it on the dry side, I would recommand you to keep it in a high humidity environment to prevent desiccation. I had a great colony of lanata in the past but they died when I dismantled my lowland terrarium and put them in the syandard condition of my growroom.

    Alternatives for Fertilizing Droseras

I use an old pepper mill with dry bloodworm in it to feed my plants. That way, the plant can digest the food really fast and it doesn't leave big chunk on the leaf so no mould. I second Lloyd, regia doesn't like bloodworm for me either.

    Few Cephalotus

Nice, when mine are doing well, I usually do nothing but recently, I put a pellet of slow releasing fertilizer (like osmocote) in one pitcher of each plants and they are looking way better (I try on one a few months ago to be sure it would not kill it).

    Acclimating Cephalotus Necessary?

It all depends on growing conditions. The ceph that are kept in bags are rarely watered, I only keep them moist. I open the bag once a month or two to be sure the media isn't drying. This can happen when the water evaporates on the side of the bag but does not fall back into the pot. The other...

    Acclimating Cephalotus Necessary?

Depending on seasons. in my house, the humidity can be really low. I keep half my ceph in bag all year long and most of them are doing really well. I think you should keep it in a bag for a moment, it will serve as a quarantine at the same time. Just take care to not put it near the light to...

    Weird ceph behaviour

Thank you very much for your observation, I find it odd too. Because I wish to know if my set-up is high enough for the flower stalk, I'll let it grow unless it abort by itself. If I follow your thought, it's even weirder because currently the temperature in my grow room is decreasing but it...

    Weird ceph behaviour

Hello gang, I have my cephs since a few years now (let say 8-10 years). I must grow them under light because my widowsill doesn't get enough light. So I try to mimic outdoor conditions to get my ceph to bloom. And it's hard. According to my understanding, ceph flowers in Spring. Last Winter...
