today's gonna be a good one for plants! visiting a nursery and going on a bog walk

seems like my experiments drying out u. machrorhiza (western populations of u. vulgaris) are just forming turions... coming to the conclusion that these may be non-flowering specimens. no matter! I hear of sightings within walking distance of my house, so a hunting we shall go!

Noticed both flytrap and pygmy sundew seedlings are up today! I forgot how adorable itty bitty traps were, pics coming as soon as they're big enough for my camera to focus on! Nothing yet from my utric seeds... but then how would I know? What do utric seedlings even look like?

Bog pots assembled! Can't wait for the weather to cooperate so I can get them in the garden!
