Is that one of those foot scrub pumice stones ?
I always figure they were man made and didn't know what might be in them.

"Pumice is a light-colored volcanic rock. It's extremely porous, with a foamy appearance. Crushing pumice rock into a powder produces a substance called pumicite or simply volcanic ash."
The man-made stuff is more like hard sponge. It's probably cheaper to get a natural pumice rock than artificial one because it involves high heat and pressure to bake the "cake" made of glass powder. Whereas pumice can be found pretty much worldwide and there are island sized pumice rocks floating in the ocean.

for me it is not a moranensis but rather one of its hybrids.
can you show us the corolla more face to see the throat ?

other possible candidate agnata x ehlersiae.
the darker spots at the corner of the lobe tab make me think that there is a little agnata in your specimen

Do you think these are helpful? The Pinguicula is 3.5in wide right now, I think it can grow slightly larger.

Pumice is actually super difficult to find here in NS, unless you're looking for one of the foot scrub stones. I've just been using perlite and chicken grit with my regular succulents. Hopefully this'll work for the pings I ordered (I'll do my research in a few mins, no need to post substrate help here haha :D).

Sadly missed out on my namesake plants, but there's always next time! I have to say I enjoy the look of a ping just sitting on a rock, it's very cute.
