What’s Your Favourite Nepenthes

Carnivore
Years ago when I just got into the CP hobby, there was always a nepenthes species that I loved and quite frankly could not source at all during the time. Fortunately as time went on, I was able to grab some seeds and got a 2 germinations. Man, you wouldn‘t imagine how much TLC I gave those seedlings....

Anyway here‘s my fav nepenthes, grown from seed! It is.... Nepenthes ventricosa

The lowly raff is easy, reliable and attractive
Raffs are great. It's often said that they need particularly warm temps and high RH to thrive; I'd like to differ! I have a N. rafflesiana var alata that periodically dries out in my cold house, it's still growing very well... :p

Based on appearance, I'd have to go with veitchii. The striped peristomes are such an interesting trait, but even the overall shape of the pitcher makes them seem pretty unique :)

One of my other favourites that I own is unidentified, but looks very much like a ventrata.

Ampularia is hands-down my fave nepenthes, but aristolochioides is an extremely close second
