Utricularia longifolia is a large perennial carnivorous plant that belongs to the genus Utricularia, from Brazil.
It has a special spot in my heart because I love adaptive plants... and this Utricularia grows well both as terrestrial AND epiphytic AND semi-aquatic! o_O
The flower is relatively large (easily 3cm+ wide), and the leaves can grow up to 6in long! Since it is so easy to care for, I'd highly recommended to anyone.
Not only it is hardy and beautiful, it is also quite invasive for it loves to explore to any water/ planters nearby. Sometimes they hide in live sphagnum moss pretty well, but I think it is a weed that most people would welcome.

I think it might have more to do with the species of moss cause it's just under one of those 70w sansi led panels with some orchids and a little heli

Holy crap! I guess that's what I have to look forward to oh well that's okay; it seems like the sphagnum is actually growing better where the utricularia is concentrated so maybe they have some companion plant style symbiosis going on

I once just threw a piece in some gravel in the bottom of my Nep terrarium and it went crazy for years.
