Nicely started plants, Sib. I've got a few varieties going including "Brad's Atomic Grape Tomato" from Baker Creek seeds.
Now if it would just warm up a bit I could get them in the greenhouse.

It's going to be cool at night in Toronto. 7°C Sunday night and 14°C Thursday night. What's the minimum nightly temperature I should put my tomatoes outside? They've been under lights up to now in the basement.

I wouldn’t trust anything under 12, Lloyd. I had peppers and tomatoes set way back last spring which was also cool.

I leave my tomatoes outside unless it’s going to be 3C or lower, sets them back a little but by fall it’s not noticeable. They have been outside since 1st week in May. This year I am growing Mallorcan , Kellogg’s Breakfast, Vintage Wine, Sungold, Oxheart, Golden Queen, and one other I can’t remember the name of.

I'm mostly worried about the first couple of weeks. In the fall they are ok above freezing.

I start mine early April and place the flats outside start of may, they are only a couple inches high when they go out. Bring the flats in when it gets cold.... I dunno, works for me and I’m zone 2.

I’m zone 2 and grow tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, muskmelon, etc...

It’s all a bit experimental but you aren’t necessarily all that limited. However, trying to plant in clay gumbo is annoying. And you have to amend the soil heavily.

My cup runneth over with tomatoes.
I can’t recommend “Brad’s Atomic Grape Tomato”. It takes forever to mature, it’s very difficult to tell when it’s ripe and the skin is tough. Nice sweet taste, though. The Brandywine are far superior.
