I just got all of this year's seedlings planted out in our new garden! I planted: canna 'angel Martin', shanghai bok choy, marigolds, sweet alyssum, tomatoes, cosmos, zinnia, lilies, touch me nots, more than 100 "wine grass" plants (I have no idea what the English translation for that is), lettuce, and golden zucchinis! quite an upgrade from last year's seedlings.

The garden plants are growing pretty nice! The first plant is canna 'angel martin', the second one is a sungold tomato plant, and the third is of some marigolds and bok choys that are going to seed.

Ugh yeah, the weather has been searing hot recently, which is the main reason for the bok choys bolting, not to mention drying out the soil really fast, making getting on top of the watering hard. Also, I think my cannas may be a bit ahead is because I am growing a miniature variety, and since it is smaller, it may take less time to grow.

I was late to plant mine, like the last thing set in... they're just a a foor or 2 tall. Durban, tangello, the green leaf tall one with red species flower... I had meant to pick up the short red wine one again this year but I was late, maybe next year lol

my hairy beardtongue plant! Why would someone name such a pretty plant such an unappealing name! That's like calling sundews booger plants, and sarracenias bug-tube plant.

I've grown hairy beardtongue from seed and that doesn't look like it. More like Mimosa pudica.
