Plant of the Month (POTM) contest Rules:

1- One plant per entry. If there are more than one plant in the picture(s), the member may state the participant.

2- The plant must be grown by the member for at least 3 months, or is grown from seed by the grower.

3- The picture(s) have to be taken in the month of the contest.

4- No 'In situ' plants. Only cultivated plants are allowed.

5- Multiple pictures of the same plant can be posted, in the same post.

6- The plant must be clearly identified.

7- Members can POST the entry from 2019-04-01 to 2019-04-30 included.

8- Entries will be voted from 2019-04-01 to 2019-04-10. Voting dates might vary.

9- The winner of each month will be recorded in the Plant of the Month CPSC HALL OF FAME.

10- Only one entry per member, in one post. Please avoid changing your entry.

Despite a cold and and snowy winter by Victoria standards this Sarracenia purpurea didn't even seem to notice. Last years pitchers are still looking great. Unfortunately for the Dionaea in the next picture the same conditions turned out to be not so ideal. To be sure that I am following rule #1 I will state that the Sarracenia purpurea is the participant I wish to enter.
